  • Responsible for creating and upholding quality standards and a culture of excellence for both current and graduating students

  • Responsible for maintenance of the wax figures including painting the figures, sculpting wax replacement parts like ears and noses, repairing damaged wax and fiberglass parts, hair insertion, and general figure maintenance.

Selected Projects:

  • 2012 - Video Demos for The Art Institute Online

    • Created 12 different 5-9 minute long videos for Ai Online life drawing classes. The topics covered various concepts and techniques of gesture drawing, ink/line techniques, chiaroscuro, toned paper techniques, as well as videos about the anatomy of the torso, the head/neck, and hands.

  • 2011 and 2012 - Contributor for Dynamica Bullet Physics demo by Michael Baker

    • Contributed concepts and storyboards for Michael Baker’s lecture and demo on the Dynamica plugin for Maya. Shown at Siggraph 2011 and later as part of a physics talk at GDC 2012.

  • 2009 Don't Drink and Drive PSA

    • Director, producer, lead designer and fabricator for both sets and the characters for a stop-motion puppet animated short produced by The Art Institute of Las Vegas. Awarded an Honorable Mention at the 2010 Dam Short Film Festival in Boulder City, Nevada.
